# Platform overview

**Inflecta is a positioning intelligence layer for token markets — translating on-chain flows into economically meaningful supply, demand, and ownership shifts.**

Inflecta focuses on structuring and interpreting otherwise noisy on-chain data. Using a curated classification engine, wallets are grouped by their functional market role, such as insiders, investors, liquid funds, exchanges, prime brokers, retail brokers, and infrastructure actors. Transfers are analyzed in context and filtered to isolate economically meaningful flows from mechanical activity.

The result is a clean reconstruction of:

* Current and historical ownership structure
* Positioning shifts across different groups of market participants
* Supply and demand dynamics, including market reactions to liquidity events
* Liquidity movement across exchanges, OTC desks, and funds

Inflecta prioritizes economic accuracy over surface-level wallet labeling, enabling a clearer view of real positioning dynamics in token markets.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://inflecta.gitbook.io/inflecta-docs/what-is-inflecta/platform-overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
